This is a cutscene that I created using Unity and I scripted what I said in the video. I gave a brief overview of the situation of the story and I also gave the watchers the feelings that they would get from the main character about how he truly feels about the situation and what he wants. I took my time to create the level using unity as I created everything by myself besides the ghost camera I used from the asset store. I also took my time with the script as I wanted it to be overall unique and original so it would inspire the watchers and make them want to get involved with my game.

JE2 - Task 2
1 MINUTE LONG SPEAK
There was a day when this world was peaceful.
Everyone laughed.
Everyone played.
Everybody had a good time.
Until that day came...
All I see...
Are walls,
Death,
Destruction.
I need to find a way to make all of this stop.
So this never-ending war will cease.
Maybe I'll find a way.
Who knows?
All I see...
Are walls,
Death,
Destruction.
I need to find a way to make all of this stop.
So this never-ending war will cease.
Maybe I'll find a way.

story board
This is a storyboard I created manually using Paint.net. As you can see, I explain the story using images and a short sentences. In the storyboard, I have referenced my game story by explaining precise events that happen within the game and also used my creative mindset to create the images of my game and put them down on paper. Now these drawings I have made aren't the best but I could improve them if I spent a lot of time and them and the main objective with the storyboard is to show the reader what is actually happening in the story and I think you can understand my story by looking at the images and the sentences I have included.

This is an overview of my map I have created using Paint.net again. I have colour coded the specific things located in my actual level and I have labeled what they are. The housing is obviously where the people on the island eat and sleep etc. The trees are trees, the farming section is where food is grown such as vegetables and wheat which keeps the people on the island alive. The Town Hall is where the leader of the island is located and this is where most of the meetings are held. As you can see it is the biggest building on the island so that is the area that is most likely going to be important. I have labeled the floor just incase and I also label that my map has walls surrounding my level because it is a natural defense that the island has created to make it more difficult for people to break inside and steal resources.
JE2 - Task 1
Grand Story
The game is originally set in the future. You are playing as Hayden who is a person who was raised on one of the floating islands, where the resources are scarce and continuous war is proceeding which is destroying the small amount of land that exists. Originally, these floating islands were once connected together to make one large country in the name of Coretta. All that remains now within the present are 3 islands which magically stay afloat in the atmosphere, where each island is ran by individual leaders which create original and unique strategic plans to conquer each island and have the most power. You want world peace and no wars to be happening constantly, seeing his friends be slaughtered and killed right in front of him. He doesn't want this to happen to anyone else including his parents but he is useless in battle and doesn't know any way to stop the battle from continuing.
Game Story
The game is set 30 years later in the future, where Coretta exploded and the islands had split into 3 different islands: Utopia, Reality and Distopia. You play as the character of Hayden, who lives in the island of Reality and wants everybody to have equality. Whilst you are doing some every day chores on the island of Reality, an attack strikes unexpectedly when Hayden is attacked by somebody. He closes his eyes and then he reopened them, to see a dull, dark, grey, standstill frozen image of the war around him. He could move around fine but every body else was frozen, just like time had stopped. His surroundings begin to turn distorted as the frozen world surrounding him starts to twist and spin and then everything turns pitch black. He opens his eyes and sees a floating black cat staring deep into his eyes; as if it could see right into Hayden's soul.
Setting
Coretta
In the past, all of the islands used to be connected to make one big country with the name of Coretta. It used to be a happy country where people could live a normal life and play without having the natural disasters of what happens in present day.
Utopia
Utopia is the one island that is filled with the most resources and considered most valuable. The people of the land try not to fight but they are forced to defend their land because the people of the other islands are trying to raid all of the resources that they possess and this means that they need to stay defensive so they can't breach further into the land and take out the island leader.
Reality
The island of Reality is like a borderline between both of the 2 other islands. They believe that everybody should be treated equally and they want no war to commence. The island has basic equipment and resources which helps them survive like normal life but since they have no space resources to give to the other islands, they end up getting into wars with the other islands.
Distopia
Distopia is practically the opposite of Utopia. This island is very poor, with barely any resources which is affecting the people on the island since they barely have any food or water to survive. This forces the people to go offensive and attack the other islands in attempt to gain resources so that the people of Distopia don't die of starvation.
Characters & Backstories
Hayden
Lives on the island of 'Reality.' Hayden was raised by his mother and father on the island of 'Reality'. Hayden hates how the world is at the moment with war going on and people dying when everybody could get along and live normal lives. Hayden wants to find a way to make everything right again and he acts loyal to everybody he see on the island of reality.
Rosalyn
A witch who possesses magical powers and has the ability to hover. Rosalyn currently is the leader of Utopia and is using magical spell to protect the island since Distopia's troops are constantly attacking it because they are the wealthiest.
Xander
Physically bulky and aggressive. He is the leader of Distopia and is plotting cunning attacks and ambushes on the other islands since they have barely any resources. He is a greedy man and he will take peoples lives to get what he souly wants without hesitation.
Felix
Felix is a Animorph who has the ability to change their appearance to look like any animal. Felix has the appearance of a cat and has the power to time travel, which could help Hayden change the world's ways for good.

Task 5 – Interactive Story and Writing strategies
Task 5 – Interactive Story and Writing
strategies
Explain
and use elucidated examples on how interactive story elements are used to help
get the player invested and involved within the game’s story, this should also
include what writing strategies they would of used to create this, do this for
the following areas:
Cinematics (Trailer)
The cinematics of a video game helps in many different ways, within advertising the game itself and getting people excited, hyped up and interesting in the game. Cinematics shows various things in limited forms and amounts, as they give us little snippets of game-play and cut-scenes that are shown in the game, using interesting game-play that can get the player hooked to what they see including things such as unique and original game-play and emotional scenes using quotes that can get the audience interested and make them want to buy and play the game. However, this can be different depending on how the company of the game want the story of the game portrayed within the cut-scene as most of the time, they like to give the audience the small parts of the story that will get them integrated into the story to make them think that the game will reveal more secrets or character connections which creates emotion and gets the player wanting to buy and play the game. Cinematics also include music which suits the theme to spread the emotion that they want the audience to feel about the game whether it be heroic, fast paced, playful, emotional and many more. I think that the music is very important, especially in a trailer as it powers up the vibe that's is given off and it gets us interested in the story that has been shown.
Cut scene
A cut scene shows a moment that is not controlled by the player and shows a scene where characters do something or something happens within a certain environment. A lot of cut-scenes give us information about what to do within game-play, give us emotional feedback between the characters or some cut-scenes can get the player pumped up for game-play such as saving a character from what could be their death. In my opinion, I think that cut-scenes give us feedback that allow us to take in crucial information about the story itself as it practically forces the player to watch as they have no control over the cut-scene to change what the outcome will be. Cut-scenes are usually filled with emotion which lets the player take in mind what they have done through the game-play, what they need to do next and what the have achieved after what they have done.
Triggered Event
A triggered event within a game is something that occurs when the player has done something in the game to trigger an event within the game that couldn't be done before the player has done a certain thing. this happens in many games to make sure that players can't skip to the finish and experience the necessary things within the game that they need the players to see so they know exactly what is happening in the game. This is to direct the story so the player completes the story in order as the pieces of the story are put together in the order it should be in.
Pokemon Red & Blue
Pokemon is a game that mostly always uses triggered events to progress through the game. For example, you can't skip a gym or a city because there is always something stopping you, which means that you can't defeat the elite four and become the champion. A good example of this is in Pokemon Red and Blue when the final gym is located in one of the first cities you enter but you are never allowed to enter the gym because you're not strong enough. Another way that Pokemon uses this is that when you first start the game, you can't leave Pallet town and you are forced to get a starter Pokemon or you can't progress through the game.
Player Control
This is where the player practically chooses what happens within the story and what the outcome will be and how the main character will act. for example, infamous 2 is a good example as there are 2 sides to be chosen between evil and good, which can change game play, outcomes and the powers that the main character possesses. this also means that the other characters within the game will have a different perspective of you meaning that some may like you more and have more respect or some will hate you more and try to kill you/ hunt you down/ side with the villain.
In Infamous 2 - Second Son is a game which also has a future based on what choices the player makes. In the game, there are "good" and "evil" options, which leans you towards a side and will alter what will happen within the game and the superpowers you can gain within the game which is also restricted depending on the choice you make choosing mostly good or evil options. This means that the player will think carefully about the options they make to save characters, make things better
Until Dawn is another game that is controlled by the choices that the player makes. It has the genre of survival horror which is a very effective theme to use where player control is an option as it creates more hype and it makes players think twice about the actions they make
The Walking Dead is a survival and zombie apocalypse themed games which casts of using multiple options that the player can make to change what happens in the story and the way the other characters within the game will think and act with you. This is interesting as the smallest things that may not even seem to matter at all may result in somebody dying or being injured within the future of the game.
Character Customisation
Character Customisation is something that allows the player to personally create their own character whether it be; changing clothing, hairstyle, facial features, height/ width, superpower, strength and much more. This allows the player to change the appearance of character to their personal liking whether they want them to resemble themselves in a game, make them look funny which could include glitchy/ unrealistic tweaks or maybe even a previous character they like from a movie or anime series. Character Customisation is located in games where a story is usually not involved, due to the fact that the character that you have created won't have a specific role or voice to actually communicate and work within a story. This is why we see Character Customisation in games which have multiplayer where dialogue is not required.

Unravel
This is a trailer that shows multiple things that gets the audience interested using the visuals and the music combination, giving us a general base of the story and game mechanics. I really like this trailer because is shows strong emotion and dedication as you can see that the character you play as is trying to make its way back to the owner who created it and you can see how it uses its own body of yearn to get around the environment around it which looks very creative and unique and I am personally interested in this game by watching the trailer as its gave me a brief view of the story which looks very interesting and I would like to play the game to see what dilemmas the story could hold and how the game finishes overall.
Dark Souls 3
In this trailer, we are shown some gameplay footage of your character fighting some enemies and huge bosses. What I love most about this trailer is how the music within it emphisises how deep and dark the game actually is as it shows the raw power that the bosses can possess. It makes the game feel really epic and it makes the person watching want to play it as everything fits together tand the music especially gives us that emotional vibe that players want.
Pokemon Sun and Moon
These trailers show us certain Pokemon, locations and other things that will be included in the game. These trailers are really good as it creates hype for long term Pokemon fans that are excited for the the new release of Sun and moon. These trailers give us features of characters that are going to be in the game, what the environment looks like and also a general back story of where the protagonist is from. In the Japanese trailer, we can see that the main character is supposedly somebody who moved from Japan to Hawaii, which is really good because we have never seen a region of Pokemon that has been based outside of Japan before. We also see things such as how there will be different islands to explore which is something that we haven't seen for a very long time in the Pokemon games which also hypes a lot of the viewers up.

Cut-scenes are usually filled with emotion which lets the player take in mind what they have done through the game-play, what they need to do next and what the have achieved after what they have done.
As you can see, the opening cutscene to this game is extremely emotional as Eren tries to save his mother from collapsed rubble as the Titans have broken the wall and can enter the city. The Titans are destroying the city and eating the people in it and whilst Eren and Mikasa are trying to save their mother, a member of the Survey Corps grabs both of the and takes them to safety. this cutscene portrays emotion perfectly in my opinion as emotional music starts to play and you can hear Eren screaming for his mother and you can see the emotion in his facial expression as he is crying.
This is another cutscene that I think is portrayed really well and I love the whole story behind it. I love this cutscene because it switches it up and uses some rock type music which gives the whole theme of the game a really cool and badass feel to it. I also love the time period that this was set in, as you can clearly see that it was set in the war time looking at the soldiers uniform and the trenches they are located in. In the cutscene, we are given actually quite a lot of information such as the characters names, specific locations in the map, guns that will be available in the map and much more. We can see how they meet eachother and then they are all pointing guns at one another, and then they see Dr. Edward Richtofen, who is experimenting with a zombie which gives us more sign to the backstory of the whole of zombies. After that, they look around and see the zombies and all seem like the are truced.

Task 4 – Emotion.
Happiness - Pikachu
Pikachu is practically the mascot of Pokemon, always showing a happy and upbeat expression which makes most of us fall in love with Pikachu nowadays. He's always looking happy while fighting in games such as Super Smash Bros Brawl, Pokemon Yellow and much more. There are various games that a specifically targeted towards Pikachu which allows the audience to interact with Pikachu more and makes the bond even bigger. Overall, Pikachu is a cute and joyful character that everyone loves because of how he has been portrayed in the video games, the media and the anime.

Vengeance (revenge)- Kratos
Kratos from God of War's mission is to kill all of the Gods that decieved him into killing all of his family and now he wants his revenge so that his family didn't die in vain.

Fear - Miles Upshur
Outlast is a Survival Horror where you control "Miles Upshur", who is a freelance investigate reporter, and you have to investigate the Mount Massive Asylum where unethical experiments are being conducted by the Murkoff Corporation. The game is filled with jump scares and horrific scenes that are portrayed that aim to scare the player and you can see how petrified Miles is. You can hear how he pants quickly and other things that hint how afraid he really is being hunted down by crazy monsters and psychopaths which makes Miles have fear of the Asylum. Especially how he has to use the night vision on the camcorder to see the viscous creatures in the pitch black and he also has to rely on batteries.

Anger - Primal Dialga
Primal Dialga is an enraged form of Dialga that takes place and fights the protagonists in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/ Darkness/ Sky, He was in an enraged state because the time gears were not put back in the temporal tower which disrupted the flow of time and sent dialga in an outrage resulting in Dialga changing into his primal form. Dialga was a leader of Dusknoir, who commanded him to stop Grovyle from stealing the time gears because the current Dialga didn't want to get erased from existance.

Perseverance - Grovyle
Grovyle from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/ Darkness/ Sky is a character that I adore for multiple reasons. Grovyle wants to restore time even though he know that he would get recognized as a criminal trying to do so and his chances of actually succeeding was very low without any help. He would keep trying to collect all the time gears, even when he got captured once and he was still determined to collect them all and restore time for good so that the future for all the other Pokemon was not frozen in time.

Heroism - Delsin
In inFamous 2 - Second Son, depending on the options you have continued through the game with, you get good and bad karma which changes the story, your powers and characters opinions of you. If you continue through the game selecting the options which give you good karma, then you will choose to save everyone when you get the opportunity and you won't kill anyone unless it is extremely necessary. This makes Delsin show show his all good side where he is pretty much saving the conduits reputation as he saves lives and fights for friends, family, strangers and himself, which makes everybody have a different opinion on conduits rather than being criminals with deadly superpowers.

Valour - Link
Link from The Legend of Zelda is a really good example of Valour because he stays calm when in battle against scary and powerful opponents and he doesn't give up a fight.

Hope - Clementine
The Walking Dead is a game based around surviving in a zombie apocolyse where the situations are really tough and resources are very scarce. Clementine is the youngest in the group but she is an inspiration for everyone, she makes people that she doesn't even know want to trust and protect her whilst she gives of the emotion that everything will be okay and everyone will get through and survive. Clementine is somebody who is afraid of what will happen but continue surviving hoping that everyone will get through and fight the undead for survival which also makes players love Clementine as a character because she is so brave and calm in the mose terrifying situations where she could lose her love ones or even her own life.

Competitiveness - Blue
Blue is a character that has appeared in a few of the Pokemon games where we first see him in the first games: Pokemon Red, Blue and Green. He is the rival of the character you play within the game who chooses the starter that has a bigger advantage over the starter you pick and he is determined to win and become the best Pokemon trainer. He has a cocky attitude is another thing that leads into a competitive state where he can't admit defeat and he wants to be the best no matter what.

Task 3 – Representation.
Racism
In video games, you can guess how a character would be like just by taking a glace at them. Even if it's just the way they talk, look, live etc, we can probably guess roughly about what kind of person they are. For example, race is something that people would take as a stereotypical subject as somebody is likely to assume how and who they are just by looking at the colour of their skin. For example, in GTA V, Franklin and Lamar go around causing crime, carjacking, bank robberies, drug dealing and more. This could lead to offending certain people because a race can not depend on whether somebody is a good or a bad person but we tend to see this in certain games for the same reason as other contents of media such as movies.

Heroes/ Heroines
Heroes and Heroines are usually presented in a way that the audience will be most informed and convinced by, which is usually brave and courageous. They have a mindset that instantly makes them want to save people from evil and to stop evil plans from harming people.
Delsin - InFamous: Second Son
Delsin is a character who chooses to do what he wants to do. The player has multiple options whether they want to do, whether the option be good and heroic or bad and destructive which changes the way that Delsin acts within the game.

Red - Pokemon Red & Blue
Red is a character that seeks to become the very best Pokemon master, with goals such as catching all 151 Pokemon and to defeat all Pokemon trainers. Red is an inspirational character in my eyes since he seems courageous and determined to be the best using different strategies to come out with the victory. Even if he runs into trouble during his adventure such as encountering Team Rocket, then he would go out of his own way to defeat them and make everything right so the Pokemon World would be safe from Team Rocket and their cunning plans.

Grovyle - Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/ Darkness/ Sky
Grovyle is one of my overall favourite video game characters of all time. Even though he is technically a Pokemon and not a character, the game gave him his own role and personality which I found really amusing and I was really pleased about. At first, the game portrays him as a complete criminal and a thug who stole time gears which basically stopped the time in the specific areas they were located at. Later in the game, we are told that he was actually doing this to fix time and to also stop the temporal tower from collapsing which would send Dialga into a primal rage and paralyzing the planet. The protagonists (the player and your partner) secretly work with grovyle to collect all of the time gears whilst traveling back into the past. After reaching the hidden land which leads to Temporal tower, Dusknoir appears and attacks Grovyle and the others where you will fight against Dusknoir and his army of Sableye minions. After you defeat Dusknoir, he confirms that if the time gears are put back in place, all the Pokemon from the future will disappear including Grovyle which Grovyle confirms. Dusknoir pleads one last attack to hit the player but Grovyle intercepts it and forces himself to send him and Dusknoir back to the future so the player and partner could finish restoring the time gears so that time would restore and temporal tower would not collapse. I think that this was extremely heroic because Grovyle actually sacrificed himself so that the world could be restored and time would flow normally again which I found extremely touching and sad at the time when I played this game as I found myself shedding tears over Grovyle.

Sidekick
Pikachu - Pokemon Yellow
Pikachu is the first Pokemon you obtain in the game, meaning that it should be your most precious Pokemon and looked after. The Pikachu in this game actually follows you around unlike the other games where you had no Pokemon following you, which I thought was a really cool and neat addition to the game as it allowed the player to interact with it more. You also had the option to talk to Pikachu where he shown you different expressions hinting how he is feeling which all depends on things such as: Friendship, Current health/ status and area that it is in. Every time I interacted with my Pikachu, I was delighted to know that he was happy and having a great time accompanying me on my Pokemon adventure.
Popo/ Nana - Ice Climbers
The Ice Climbers are always by each others side helping each other move along and get through. I mainly played using them on Super Smash Bros Brawl, as they demonstrated how hand in hand they were always with each other fighting together whilst Nana mimicked every move that Popo made which means that they always stayed together which I found fairly cute and helpful as they always were there for each other to back the other up and support.

Villains/ Antagonists
Dusknoir - Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/ Darkness/ Sky
Dusknoir is the character that I briefly mentioned about whilst explaining the heroism that Grovyle has shown to us and now, I would like to explain how Dusknoir is actually a selfish villain. So Dusknoir was first seen when Grovyle attacked the main character and Dusknoir protected the main chracter to try and show that he was a good guy trying to save the world from Grovyle who was stealing all of the time gears. However, Dusknoir was trying to stop Grovyle because he didn't want the world to go back to having a steady time flow as it would have meant that he would has disappeared from existence.

Team Rocket
Villian from the Pokemon franchise but Team Rocket aims to achieve world domination and they want to obtain all of the most powerful and rare Pokemon; even if it involves stealing them from a Pokemon trainer. Team Rocket would usually perform inhuman experiments on Pokemon so they become more powerful and have a better chance a world domination.

Collectibles
collectibles can enhance games in many ways. You can collect things that you like to collect whether it be your favourite Character, Pokemon, Item, Clothing etc. or you could even just collect it just for the sake of obtaining everything that the game has to offer.
Love gems - LLSIF
In Love Live: School Idol Festival, you can collect Love Gems by doing certain quests and completing certain songs which can allow you to purchase new Idols which is very nice because you could get your favourite character or an ultra rare character that has a very low chance of being rolled.
Pokemon - Pokemon
Pokemon as a whole are literally just collectibles. You don't have to catch them all if you don't want to but you have the option to catch them all to fill up the Pokedex completely. There are also other type of Pokemon which are known as "Shinies" and they are super rare as they only have a 1/8000 chance of being seen.
Genders
Male

Ryu is a good example of males in video games because he has absolutely huge muscles along with strength and he just looks extremely cool in my opinion.

Here is another image showing how the armor covers more of the male body but it is still not full armor as you can see all of his arms, which most likely means that the developers just wanted the character to look cool rather than full of armor.
Female
Lollipop Chainsaw

As you can see, the female in this video game is portrayed in a very sexual manner, wearing clothes that do not necessarily fit the theme of the game and standing in positions that are not very appropriate for the situation, since the theme is zombie apocalypse so the game should be taking more a of realistic approach like The Walking Dead or The Last of Us.

Here is another example of how females are extremely sexualised in many games as in MMO type of games, the armor that women wear is barely even armor and it gets adapted into more like a sexualised costume that wouldn't actual protect you at all in a real life situation.

Task 2 – Storytelling within Genre’s
FPS
FPS is a genre where you view the perspective of a character and control the movements and decisions that they make. The main aim of this genre is to make it feel like you are the actual character in order to feel emotions from the characters that surround you which also gets you pumped up to actually complete a mission without any errors, such as losing loved ones which also enhances stories that possess more emotion.
Call of Duty
Call of Duty was originally a game that showed lots of reality that came from a large inspiration of the World war, which shown us how the war was like a techniques and realities that were actually faced within the war. In Call of Duty: World at War, the main campaign shows some realities of how brutal and deadly the real world war was using real techniques and weapons to conquer and defeat the enemy. I like this about the story because you experience some of the possibilities that may of occurred in the real war in a first person perspective which gives the player a more of an emotional feel towards the game to the character.
TPS
TPS is a genre which makes you realise that you are not the main character which also specifies that you are playing as a fictional character which brings less emotions to a story since you as the player don't seem as pumped to play the game seriously or get emotionally attached to the story, which results in more casual game-play. However, this could be a totally different considering an in depth story such as some games which are controlled in a third person perspective such as The Last of Us and Beyond Two Souls.
GTA V
GTA V has a story that targets 3 protagonists; Micheal, Franklin and Trevor. The game is in a 3rd person perspective for many reasons. First of all, all of the other GTA games have used 3rd person and also it helps the player continue through the story as they know which character they are playing as. I like this because it makes some simple mechanics of the game look better. The game begins with Micheal, Trever and Brad robbing a vault, when things go horribly wrong as both Micheal and Brad get shot by a sniper. They all escape from the robbery in a car and then the story continues from there as they all commit more crime as they aren't so happy with their lives.
The Last of Us
I love the way the story in the last of us is portrayed because it shows the bond between 2 characters; Joel and Ellie. Joel has lost his daughter from when the Zombie Apocalypse first happened and Ellie was somebody who was born into the apocalypse. When they first meet, Joel is asked to take care of Ellie and Joel doesn't really want to get involved because of what happened to his daughter. As the gameplay continues, you can see how the bond of the 2 characters increases as they learn new things about eachother and can work together against the zombies amazingly, using stealthy tactics or full out attacking methods. I love how the game is shown in a 3rd person perspective because you can see the characters facial expressions, and what I like most of all is the stealth. With the stealth mode activated, you can see around you by moving the camera and then the game becomes so tense and I just love that feeling within the game.

RPG
RPG is a certain category that consists of using characters that we control whether it is a singular or multiple characters. It usually consists of the characters completing various missions manually which can change how the gameplay is shown because of the choices the player has made.
Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness
Pokemon has a wide range of games, which all have great stories using characters, places and Pokemon that we are familiar with. Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness is an RPG game released on the Nintendo Gamecube on the 18th November 2005 for Europe. This game happens in the same world that the previous game "Pokemon Colleseum" was set, where we see famliar character such as Mirror B and Duking. You start off within the game with a Pokemon called "Eevee" which is a pokemon that is capable of evolving into 5 different evolutions: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon or Umbreon. This gives the player a choice to chose what they want to evolve their Eevee into which is good because it gives them a personality and a better connection to their Pokemon as it is the first Pokemon you obtain in the game. You basically start off with a normal life and then as soon as you start off, the professor gets kidnappe+d by an evil orginisation with the name of "Team Cipher" who aim to use the professor to gain more research about the mysterious Shadow Pokemon that are extraordinary Pokemon that are extra powerful and out of control causing crime such as attacking citizens and creating destruction. This story goes into a lot of detail which extends the story with lots of different objectives which could be involved with the main story or side story
Corpse Party: Blood Covered
Corspe Party: Blood Covered is a RPG Horror, which uses characters that all have relations whether it is in the same class or they are related by blood. The game has a lot of emotional plot twists and I love how they are portrayed because a lot of it is initially plotted for the player to be shocked and surprised from the outcomes. Some things can be changed and most of the characters can also be saved but one of the characters dies no matter what and I find this very emotional as the story puts us in a perspective with the character of Seiko where we learn about her and how Naomi and Seiko became friends.
However, The story begins with everyone in the class celebrating their schools culture festival and then a group of the students were telling a ghost story and one of the characters wanted to perform a charm called "Sachiko Ever After" which would mean that they would all be be friends forever and all eternity but they had to make sure they said "Sachiko we beg of you" in there head once for each person taking part and then one extra time for Sachiko herself. everyone holds onto the paper doll and pulls it when everyone is sure that they have said it correctly but what they don't know is that if they say it too many or few time, Sachiko herself will go into her own wrath and drag all of them into Heavenly Host Elementary school. They all need to keep the pieces of paper with them in a place where they wouldn't lose it; like inside of their student ID.
After they complete the ritual, they all have there pieces of paper and then an earthquake begins and they all wake up in different locations of Heavenly Host Elementary school. Inside are horrifying things and the school itself is located in the middle of nowhere so you can't escape either. I love the concept of this game as its very very unique and I love all of the characters personalities and the whole story and backstory of the game as it goes into a wide range of specific detail which fairly interests me.
Here are some images showing some game play and cut scenes which is a style that I tend to enjoy and I especially love the horror aspect to the game because it isn't usually something you'd find in any usual RPG.
Fighting
Touhou Hisoutensoku
Touhou Hisoutensoku is from a series of Touhou games which is focused toward the point of fighting against a person or AI on a 2D platform. The game consists of using familar characters that have been used in previous Touhou games which are not targeted on fighting but rather top-down shooters such as: Touhou 6 The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, Touhou 7 Perfect Cherry Blossom, Touhou 8 Imperishable Night and many more. Looking into the mechanics of the game, the character have different statistics where some are faster, slower, stronger or weaker which can effectively change the gameplay overall which gives this game a more strategic view where the player has to think before making the first move. The story in this game revolves around a general side story of the actual Touhou series where it uses the same characters as before that fight against each other in previous games, which leads to the fighting and progressing into the game, where the story differs depending on which of the 3 characters you choose.

In this, you can see some game play of a fight between Youmu and Reimu who both have special individual abilities and attacks. I love the characters in this game as they have been passed down from all of the original Touhou games and I think that the graphics look amazing for the resolution and pixely style the game is in.

Tekken
Tekken presents it story in cut scenes after 1 on 1 fights with the opponent. Each playable character has their own unique story and I like the way that tekken have presented it. I'd say that Jin is the main protaganist of Tekken considering that he is on the presented in the foreground of the front cover case. The story is also a sequel to the previous game; Tekken 4, where Jin defeats his father. Jin begins to have his bodyu taken over by the devil as he grows wings and then the story continues in tekken 5. In tekken 5, devil Jin is a playable character, and it ends with him fighting the father of Heihachi who has been missing for 50 year and then devil Jin defeats him and the devil completely takes over his body. The is also an option where you can play as normal Jin and defeats Jinpachi and then he becomes the new owner of MIshima Zaibatsu.
Sport
Skate 3
The story in Skate 3 is to basically just go out, complete quests and set high scores with skateboard tricks you perform in game. There are different modes in the game, which can change the way you play. One of the mosts is to set the highest score out of all of the other competitors so you can freestyle and make any trick you like but you have to play smart because you want to make the highest score out of everyone else. There is also options to freeroam around the map, creating any type of stunt you like which is a feature I personally like because it gives the player freedom and I think that it's overally really cool.
Fifa
fifa is a game that revolves around football and it takes real life players and events that have actually happened in football. In the story mode, you can choose to be either a football player or a manager, which can change how the outcomes of the games will be. If you are a manager in the team, you can buy and sell players which could help the team play more successfully and you can also do things such as changing formation just like a real manager. You can do other things also such as substitution etc. The main aim is to become the best football team in which ever league you participate in a become the champions.
Strategy
Strategy games are practically what is in the title. They are based around players using strategic methods to progress further into the game solving various puzzles which usually take quite a lot of attempts to complete.
The Witch's House
The Witch's House is a game based around a character called Viola who is lost within a forest and finds a cat that can talk that helps here and also acts as a save point. Viola finds a mansion and tries to find someone to get help so she can find her father, but the house is filled with magical and dangerous traps where the player has to maneuver and solve various puzzles to progress further into the mansion. Viola also finds diary's around the mansion which belong to a person called Ellen, who is a girl who has a deadly illness and neglect her parents. She had a became a witch by forming a contract with a demon who committed a promise to her to cure her illness if she were to kill more people and let him eat their souls. As you can see, the story goes quite in depth and has many statements and theories which are based around the game which allow the audience that play the game to get more hooked and attached to the game and the character in the game.
Simulation
Goat Simulator
In goat simulator, you control a goat in a third person perspective where you can either run, jump, bash or lick things. There is no main story to the game but there are unlockable things and hidden items that can be obtained to change specific features in the game. For example, how you see your character in game and the type of abilities that they are able to do. I really like this game as there is a lot of customization involved and I love how you can freely roam around the map without any bother.
Clustertruck
Clustertruck is a really fun game to play. The objective is to get through levels by jumping on the top of these trucks that are driving super fast and they are all clustering and crashing into eachother. Your aim of the game is to stay on the truck and not die. This game is really good because it's a original challenge and the game has quite a lot of difficult levels to progress though and I love to play challenging games because I personally find them really fun and enjoyable.
The Sims
The sims is a game that portrays life like features into a game. You can buy houses, make friends, go for walking in the park, shower, have the toilet, make food and all real life features like that. I really like this game because its really unique and super addicting as I used to play this on my phone all the time because I didn't want my people to die from starvation or hygiene.
